How product payment, dispatch and freight collection work for bulk consignments from Dehradun, or occasionally Haldwani.
For all bulk orders, 100% of the product value is settled before your consignment is loaded onto the freight carrier — we do not load cargo against a pending or partial balance. You can complete this in either of two ways:
Split payment: pay 80% of the order value as an advance, with the remaining 20% settled once the shipment’s exact weight is confirmed at the weighbridge at the time of loading. Both payments are completed before the cargo is loaded onto the freight carrier, so the full 100% is in hand prior to dispatch.
Full prepayment: pay the entire 100% of the product value upfront in a single payment before loading. Both payment structures are accepted for bulk orders — choose whichever works better for you.
Once product payment is complete (by either method), the shipment moves on a “To Pay” freight basis. This means Double Good Organics does not prepay the logistics charges on your behalf: instead, our logistics partner collects the freight amount directly from you, the customer, at your destination city or town — either at the time of delivery or before the consignment is released from the local branch or godown, depending on that branch’s process.
In practice this means two separate sets of payments for a bulk order: the full product cost (as an 80% advance plus 20% at weighbridge, or as a single 100% upfront payment), settled before loading; and the freight and logistics charges — use the calculator above to estimate this amount — paid locally to the logistics partner when your consignment reaches you. Please keep the estimated freight amount ready at your end so your consignment can be released without delay.

Full lorry freight is quoted only for shipments of 20,000 kg (20 tonnes) and above. It is not applicable for smaller quantities — switch this option off for regular shipments below 20 tonnes.
